This year marks the 150th anniversary of Stags and to celebrate the occasion the firm are fundraising for four charities across the South West. Throughout this momentous year, the teams from each of Stags’ 22 offices will be taking part in a number of challenging and fun events in an effort to raise a total of £50,000. Every penny raised will be going to help support cancer patients and their families across the region thanks to our chosen charities, Ducks & Drakes in Dorset, SURE in Somerset,FORCE in Devon and the Tanya's Courage Trust in Cornwall.
A courageous group of Stags’ employees have teamed up to take on a particularly ambitious fundraising event. Named the “Tour de Stags”, this charity cycle route will take our team over 400 miles across the beautiful, rolling hills of the West Country in just four days!
The team will be pedalling to all 22 Stags offices from the 3rd to the 6th of July, passing each branch to be cheered on by colleagues. Due the undulating terrain of the region, they will be ascending the height of Mount Everest, so it is going to be tough! The brave souls who have signed up are not by any means professional cyclists, but they have been training devotedly, eager to show their support to these amazing charities.
Managing Partner, Alex Rew, comments “Like all these things it sounds like a wonderful idea at the outset and then a few months later reality sets in! However, 7 of us have signed up to do our upmost to complete the ride and raise as much as we can for these worthwhile charities”.
